The Cat Hospital “FRIENDS”

Ross, Joey, Chandler,

Phoebe, Ray Ray & Moo Moo

This family of kittens arrived on the back porch of the Cat Hospital a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, they were left without a carrier or box to stay in overnight. By morning they were discovered hiding out underneath the porch, darting out from time to time to search for food.  Staff members Jessie and Janet rescued the family and brought them inside for a thorough exam (and a big meal!)

Phoebe, the mama cat, is just a baby herself at a little over six months old. Her five kittens are estimated to be just two months old.

The whole family is currently staying in the treatment area of the Cat Hospital undergoing treatment for ringworm, so it will be several weeks before they are ready to go to their new homes. However, we are taking applications now for these cuties, so check in at the front desk if you are interested in preparing your home for a sweet new addition.

Phoebe.

Adult Cats Need Special Homes!

Lulu

Lulu is a special kitty who has been at the Cat Hospital since November of 2006. She is a beautiful grey and white girl who has her own special quirk – she only seems to get along with female kitties, and even then she needs plenty of personal space.  Lulu can be a bit grumpy when forced to compete for affection with other pets, and would probably be happiest as the only feline companion of the house. She would do best with a caretaker who is willing to give her plenty of time to adjust to new surroundings, and one who can give her the patience, love and attention she deserves.

Despite her quirky personality, Lulu is a loving and affectionate kitty, and enjoys taking cat naps in whichever chair a staff member is just about to sit down on. As a temporary resident at the Cat Hospital, Lulu has received the best in veterinary care. She is negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is in great health otherwise. She is up to date on all her vaccines, and has been spayed. Are you the special companion that Lulu is waiting for?

Adoption applications are available by contacting the Cat Hospital at 512.258.2024 or by email to adunsky@cathospitalofaustin.com.
