I always refer to this room as “the messiest room in the hospital.”  In reality, most veterinarians will say that about their office area.  No matter how clean it gets, new paper work piles up quickly and creates a mess again.  Honestly, I would much rather be working in other parts of the hospital than sitting behind my desk doing paperwork, but unfortunately the paperwork is a fact of life in business.  This area is usually avoided on the “in-person” hospital tour, because of the mess factor.
