We have the capability to perform a large number of laboratory tests here in the hospital.  In many cases, while you wait!  This gives us the ability to begin any necessary treatments immediately.  Occasionally we do have to send some samples to an outside lab, but we do get most results the next day.  Our pharmacy contains the most common medications that are used to treat numerous conditions.
